Static Data
Static Data - Human Resources : Crafts
- Nearly all information from drop-downs are set up in Nucleus Configurator, this is system data.
- Items shaded or greyed out are pre-set by the system and can't be changed.
Ribbon Access: Configurator > Static Data > Static Data |
- The Static Data listing screen will display.
- Use the filter row or scroll down the list until you find the Human Resources : Crafts row.
- Click on the expand icon in this row.
- The Human Resources: Crafts Codes frame will be expanded.
- Here you can view a list of Crafts currently on the system.
Add a New Craft
- Right click in the Code column of any row in the frame.
- A Process menu will pop up.
- Select Add New Code.
- The last row of the data grid will become 'activated' and you can type in the relevant Code and the Code Description.
- The Code Type and Status will auto populate and cannot be edited.
- Click in the Sort Order text box and either type in or use the arrow indicators to select the sort order.
- Note: The sort order is the order in which this will appear in the Craft Type code drop-down list in Nucleus Configurator. If each Craft Type class code has the number 1, then the drop-down list will usually default to an alphabetical order in Nucleus Configurator. If it is numbered, e.g. 3, then it will appear 3rd in the drop-down list in Nucleus Configurator.
- When you have finished adding the new details, press Enter on your keyboard, or click outside of the data grid.
- An Update message box will pop up, asking -
- Are you sure you want to save changes to this code?
- Click on Yes.
- The newly added Craft will be displayed in the Codes frame and a new row will be added to the data grid.
- When you have finished, close this screen or click Refresh to return to the Static Data listing screen.
