When attempting to assign an Unscheduled Work order in the Work Scheduling screen and the following error message occur.

The configuration for technician, [technician name], still requires a default craft. Please check the configuration. The transaction ended in the trigger. The batch has been aborted.

This is primarily due to;

1. The Work Order that you wish to allocate to a Technician has not been assigned a Craft.

Fix

Follow the steps as set out in the Required Crafts   section when adding a Work Order.
