Net SqlClient Data Provider - 'The request item cannot be deleted...'

When attempting to delete a part request from the Part Requests for Part [] screen (or the Part Requests Listing screen), the following error message may occur.

The request item cannot be deleted as there is an existing part issued. Action as required. The transaction ended in the trigger. The batch has been aborted.
